Overview
VT-42DM is a compact but powerful mini automatic fiber optic fusion splicer, suitable for many types of optical fibers such as SM, MM, DS, NZ-DS (G.655), EDF and other special fibers. This device uses PAS (Profile Alignment System) fiber core alignment technology, allowing precise automatic alignment along the X/Y axes through the image analysis system from two cameras, ensuring low loss and stable quality of the weld. Despite its small size, VT-42DM is still fully equipped with advanced features, helping to operate effectively in harsh environments. After welding, the joint is protected by a specialized coating or heat shrink tube, which increases durability and minimizes loss due to external impact. This is the ideal solution for technicians who need a flexible, precise and durable splicing device.
